Permethrin soap is recommended to treat itchy skin condition caused by scabies. Permithrin content of this medicated soap is effective in destroying mites and their eggs ( that cause scabies) to deal with the infection. This soap is also effective remedy of head lice. Specific direction of applying this soap needs to obey to get the effective result. For scabies, this soap should be applied on the body until thick lather is formed. The lather needs to kept for around 5 minutes and then it should be washed thoroughly. To treat lice, Permethrin soap needs to be applied on scalp and then the scalp needs to be massaged gently. Wash the scalp with water after 10 minutes.
